Vesta Rowing Club
Vesta Rowing club is a club filled with tradition and fuelled by its community. Known, perhaps more infamously as the rowing club that parties as hard as it rows, this year lead us in a new direction.
With the senior Womens squad achieving more and more and aiming higher and higher, came the dedication of athletes and a little less time was spent on the dance floor. To adapt to this shift in energy, the club captain commissioned a series of images that empowered women and focused on the athletic strength of the club.
As a female rower, this type of project is very close to my heart. Showing the effort and skill that goes into making a club run, rather than just he fun elements. It’s a challenging sport and full of sacrifice and grit, I was keep to produce a series of images that focus don the details behind the medals, the essence that makes the club a great club.
